SO DIEGO INSIDER GUIDES

We know what it’s like traveling to a new city and trying to find the best things to do, eat, and see in the area.  There are so many resources online, but how do you know which ones are true or current?

With our neighborhood guides, you can have a roadmap of what to do in our favorite neighborhoods in San Diego, and the best part is that they are brought to you by our team of experts.  Plus, they are updated twice a year so that all of our suggestions are current.

All of our guides are genuine, not sponsored, and offer an insight to the city’s most delicious and unique places!  We create them so you can enjoy the city the best way possible…with a local friend by your side!

  • The Gaslamp Quarter is one of San Diego’s favorite neighborhoods for entertainment, dining and history.  It’s nestled in the Downtown area near Petco Park, the Convention Center, and the Embarcadero where the cruise ships dock.  The area is best during the evening/night times.  In this guide, you’ll find where to go for live music, dancing, and dining.  We are very passionate about this neighborhood since it’s also a historic district with incredible architecture from the late 19th century. There is a lot to do in this area, and this Gaslamp Quarter guide will help navigate you if you enjoy food and fun!
  • Little Italy has recently become San Diego’s top neighborhood for dining. With so many incredible restaurants and bars, it’s a challenge to figure out which location to make a reservation at. Reservations are highly encouraged at most restaurants, so we hope you plan ahead. Come to this neighborhood to grab a coffee, people watch, stroll the many blocks filled with galleries and boutiques. Or, come to our city’s best farmer’s markets to take home some fresh produce and locally-produced condiments. There is a lot to do in this area, and this Little Italy guide will help navigate you if you enjoy food and fun!
